Any axe folks here abouts?

A coworker got me interested in axes a while back and I just got my 1st restore project completed. 3 pound Plumb single bit on 28" Whiskey River New England Curved Hickory handle with Walnut wedge. A few bumps during the restore and build, but overall I am very well pleased. I have a Norlund Tomahawk and Hytest Tasmanian to build next (just have to find the time to get em done). Feel free to share any pics or stories of your axe projects (past or present). Thanks yall.

It is addicting for sure. I use em here and there, but just collecting and building them is enough for me to continue my pursuit.

I have a Winchester axe head from my dad....no handle for it....it would be nice the get it fixed up, just never found the interest...

If you ever take a notion and start the project, you might find a new obsession. It has been an absolute blast for me thus far.

German steel, nice! I haven't branched out to any European brands as of yet, but plan to in the future.
