I hear ya. I do love my roadie. been looking a little bit at MTB bikes. I may grab a used TREK 27 or 29er off CL.

Did 20 1/2 at a 12.4 mph average. My best ride yet. Riding roads on my MTB.

Rode 22 miles today. It was humid but not bad. Ended up riding with a large group down near the hooch for a few miles. Averaging 25-26 mph down Azalea drive in Roswell.
Did 5 miles on a paved trail with my 13 year old daughter today. I didn't even break a sweat, but riding side by side with her, while we talked about stuff, was great.
that roswell group is a good group...
I just did 30 miles! My legs are letting me know they did not appreciate that at all.
I'm hooked now. Got me a road bike today.
