Any love or hate for the Keltec sub2k?

I have enjoyed my gen 1. It came in the smith and Wesson 59 series mag so my 9 mm smith 5906 can trade mags with it. Gun has ran without a hiccup and surprising accurate.

Same here.. Gen 1, runs same mags as my old S&W 59, and those mags also work in my old Kel-Tec P11. Plus, it hides in a briefcase.

Love my Sub2k! It just works. Never any issues with it.

Just acquired one 9mm g17 mags seems to run great and is pretty quite suppressed. Got it yesterday afternoon and put 580 rounds through it when I got home ran great and I loaded up subs and it is as quite as my glock. The two complaints I have is that it's gay that it folds and the pinging noise in the tube from the recoil spring sucks but its really only noticeable with the can on.

Any love or hate for them? Or just get accessories to help with the spring noise?

Started a steals and deals thread because Appalachian armory in dawsonville has them for $370.00 brand new can't beat that so i did some traiding and snagged one very happy i did.

I have a Wilson Combat AR9 but aside from the cost advantage I think the attraction of the Keltec is that it does fold easy for transport.

I can't say much for looks but they are convenient and reliable. I would rather have the SU16 line of rifles. They do fold up and shoot the 5.56 round but to each his own. Both would work for what they are intended for. It's just a case of do you want 9mm or 5.56. Each would make an excellent bug out rifle.

I have one, BUT, the nut covering threads was torqued on by a drunk monkey on meth.
I ended up twisting the barrel in the receiver while it was clamped in the vice. Need to contact Kel-Tec about warranty work. I will let you know what they say.

I had used Kroil on the threads first, to no effect.

Drunken monkey on meth. That must be a new Kung Fu style. I know it can't be traditional because they didn't have meth back then. The had some premium opium but I don't think the monks partook of that particular substance. He He.

I like the forend on the gen 1, plenty of real estate to grip, but I want to try a gen 2.
