Any Porsche gurus here?

I remember when I could have bought an '81 911SC for $13k. Dummy me.

If it makes you feel any better, I bought a '79 for $13.5k and poured another $13.5k in it before selling it for $13.5k.

Know how to make a small fortune dabbling in Porsches? Start with a large fortune.

Probably not. I am a car enthusiast freak, so I considered quite a few rides before settling on my STI.
The STI and Evo are both solid "do it all" cars. I'm a gearhead and appreciate them, but they've become a little to "me too" in the last 10 years or so.

You don't have to sell me. There are hundreds of videos of STIs and Evos outrunning other cars. It's an impressive factory hot rod - but still an economy sedan with 20k in factory tuning. A modern Porsche is another level of car, and 20k in tuning would transform it further.
