Any recurve or longbow archers?

I started with a recurve about 40 years ago and soon switched to a compound. I went back to recurves about 20 years ago and used them exclusively until my bow arm shoulder crapped out a couple of years ago. I now have shoulder surgery in my near future, using an Excalibur crossbow for now but hope to return to “traditional“ archery ASAP.

Mostly shoot Bear Montana Longbow nowadays. When I feel great I pull out the Dan Quillian Bamboo Longhunter (and that ain't often).
I got my start in traditional archery with Dan while in college… shot with Dan all over the place and hunted with longbow for many years… would up hurting my back too much to keep it up. Shoot compound some but really miss the stick and string

55lb bow shreds the fletching off the shelf. Bought a relatively cheap (chinesium) fletching tool off Amazon and some feather fletching. Online they were electric blue and Kawasaki green. They got here and now I have Joker arrows. Oh well, I think they turned out decent.
