Any watch people here???

No it's Ben at Arnold's Jewelry, small shop but HUGE inventory and talent on hand, and very nice folks! I'm about to pickup a new Explorer II 42mm white dial actually, I'll post some pics when it comes in :)

I have this exact watch and I love it. Nice size (42mm) and very different from what you normally see around (subs, DJ). The white dial is awesome and I've always enjoyed having the GMT option on my watches.

Glad to hear it! I need a GMT watch and already have a vintage meters first Submariner so that's what led me to the Explorer II over a GMT II, that and it being 42mm/white dial with HUGE black hands to make it easily readable. I have a Milgauss GV as well that I can't take my eye off when wearing, I've really enjoyed my pieces.

Same here. I literally take a couple of minutes in the morning trying to figure out which watch I want to wear or is more suitable to my activities/dress that day. My desk in my home office is lined with winders running 24/7. My only complaint comes when time changes or its a short month because it's a chore getting all my autos updated.

Just sold off my LV sub because I'm slowly working my way over into larger watch sizes. I still have my first Rolex my Dad gave me (1968 DJ) although I just can't wear a 36mm watch anymore without feeling like I'm wearing a woman's watch. LOL.

Haha that's a good problem to have man! My first meters is a 1968 actually. I bought my wife a vintage boys (31mm) DJ which she wears primarily and another Salmon dial Oyster Perp which is oddly her dress watch, I'm guessing because of the size. I had a two tone white dial Yachtmaster that was just gorgeous but felt odd at times in board meetings as I'm younger than most folks in that room, so I traded it for the GV which is more subtle than an in your face all gold bezel :P

I have a movado serio. Love it. I had a submariner and I hated it. They dont keep time worth a damn. Too heavy. I like the 80s and older model rolexs. But new ones are not worth the price. Tags are nice also. My next watch will be a suunto

Really? I have Rolexes from literally every decade since the 60's and each keeps great time (within 3 secs deviation a day - in line with COSC standards). To say they're not worth the price is odd to me since you can buy one new, walk out of the store and trade in and only loose a few hundred dollars. Try that with a different brand.. As far as quality, again there is no comparison at that price point in my opinion.

Love my Rolex watches but I also love my Suunto Core. I used G-Shock while in the sandbox many years ago and it was very well suited to that environment but if I had to go back it would be Suunto all the way now.

Rolex is about more than just the watch itself so to say they aren't worth the money is relative to the individual. To be completely honest, Rolex is pretty far down on the high end watch list. The most expensive Rolex models are the entry level price point for many of the truly expensive watches. Ulysse Nardin, Philippe Patek, Audemars Piguet, LOUIS MOINET, FRANCK MULLER just to name a few. Google them, many start at $45K and go way up from there.
