With their bird finger.. the reason I ask this because I’ve lost the 1st digit on my trigger finger and I’m curious if this is possible to do with my trigger finger along the slide.. looking for answers

Lost end joint of my left trigger finger and use bird finger to shoot when weak hand is required, works pretty well.

It's all about practice. If you think about, you can probably control your strong hand bird finger better than your support hand trigger finger.

It's not really any different from the friction between slide and your support hand. Minimal, and provided there's not something protruding from the right side of the slide, it's not going to impede cycling.

You can "bump-fire" an AK like that....so I've heard.

Well I’m guessing at some point i mashed the end of my finger( maybe racking dumbbell at the gym) the bone too broke off and worked it’s way out, causing an infection and as time went by it caused an infection, which eat away my fingertip.. that’s all a guess of course
