Anybody need a Dog??***UPDATE**

I was coming home this morning down a back road and spotted a dog kennel on the side of the road with A DOG IN IT! Some sorry SOB, scourge of the earth let it there in the cage.
Our so called animal control is worthless and will not do anything till Monday. I can not keep the dog and was hoping somebody will rescue it before the pound opens on Monday.

Has a collar, looks well fed, is the pup chipped?? Check local vets, they may know whose dog it was....emphasis on WAS. Maybe in their twisted logic, they thought that someone would surely pick him up....like you did....and take care of him. In a cage so he didn't run into traffic or get lost in the woods or attacked by coyotes or snake bit.

I would take him, but we are a one dog household, current pup is VERY territorial, might not appreciate another dog around.
