Anyone else filling up their ignore list?

I'm sorry, but anyone asking $200 for a SureFire mag or $60 for a Pmag causes me to raise an eyebrow and I will certainly think long and hard before making a deal with a person like this.

Capitalism is the American way. The liberal slide towards socialism isn't going to make one's earning power allow them to buy P-mags, it is going to restrict them from being able to possess them. If the market supports the price, that's what the price should be. If the price is too high, it will come down. Get verbal with your reps, and get everyone else to as well.

I can not condone all this crazy pricing that is going on right now. However, my thoughts are as follows................................................If people can get these crazy prices, then there is evidently a "demand" for their product. Now, we all new that a "possible" weapons ban or something of the sort has been a possibility for years now. If folks did not stock up an the weapons or accessories that were possibly on the list then they did not prepare for what could happen. I guess it is all about planning, you should never wait till the last minute to prepare for anything. Just my thoughts.

I worked for a company several years ago and the VP would put something on the bottom of every memo he sent us. "The 6 P's of life".

i always heard it said as "proper planning & preparation prevents piss poor performance"

so if they are not worth $40 to you, then how in the hell can you sleep at night after taking advantage of someone else? or did i miss the memo that ODT is strictly a business oppertunity these days?
If they were worth 40 to him, he wouldn't be selling them since they are selling for that price. When people are willing to purchase items for more money than they are worth to you, that's when people sell their stuff. I have never sold something on here for what it was worth to me, nor will I ever. I sell stuff for what it is worth to the buyer.

Um...I'm not sure I follow your argument. A month or two ago, I sold a complete lower for $250...I wouldn't buy one at $250 today because I don't need one. Does that mean its not worth $250 to me, so I shouldn't have sold it for $250?

The driving force behind the market is supply and demand...but that doesn't mean values can vary between individuals. If we were only allowed to sell for what we were willing to buy something for...how in the hell would anyone ever make any money?

Exactly. I think something is worth x amount of dollars, but if you are willing to give me more than that cause it's worth more to you...I have no problem accepting that amount.

Funny thing is that no one is selling their stuff overpriced because they NEED the money. If they needed money they would have already sold it.

They're doing it to stroke their ego, so they have a story to tell. "Yeah, I sold that POS for $$$$$$." I put one over on that idiot. Ain't I cool?

so when did the switch happen that ODT turned into a business? i guess no one buys or sells guns just because they enjoy it. gotta be some monetary gain in it.

note to self - for future reference list everything high and make a profit. dont offer a good deal, always sell for more than i think its worth. have no shame in charging too much, and disregard all conscience.
