Are mags hard to find and/or bloody expensive?

They're everywhere and mostly affordable, you just need to know which style (there are 3 or 4) they take.

Some, but not others. The S&W 15-22 ones only work in S&W or with an adapter. I think the adapter is a called a "better mag"?

That's the Ceiner/Atchisson pattern, which is the most common.

I shot a 100 rounds through my M& P15-22 tonight..... My favorite ..

Skip the CMMG mags and go with Black Dog mags. Trust me on this.

You can also use Sig 522 mags. They’re made by Black Dog and are exactly the same as the Black Dog mags. They just have “Sig Sauer 522” stamped on the side instead of “Black Dog Machine”.

The Taccom reliability plug is nice to have too.
