Hey guys I need a brass punch to drift my front sight on my 10/22. Shoots left and needs to go right. I don't want to damage the site by using any ordinary punch. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

Thank you :D

Brass will probably still mark it. Try a a short length of a good wooden chopstick or cut one from a peice of seasoned hardwood.

weird on my end it doesn't show in stock. I'm just gonna run out there tomorrow and if they dont have one then i'll try harbor freight even though their site only shows ordinary punches. Last resort is to use Kahrnut Kahrnut suggestion!

Just use a good wooden dowel, Home Depot got plenty of them.........................

Have you used one to drift a sight? I had a 10/22 rear sight (even though I'm talking about one for a front post sight), that would not freaking move even with an ordinary punch. I did not use a vice though. If it works I might try it out tonight before running to the stores.
