I've got a Dillon XL650, and so far I've kept my bulk loading to 9mm/.45/.38 & .357. Anyone out there loading .300 BLK on a fully progressive setup? Any issues? It uses the .223 kit, so no issue there. But what about powder metering, OAL issues, etc? Just curious before I dive in. Thanks!

Other than it being a bottleneck case requiring case lube, it's basically a pistol round. Same powders and similar charge weights as an average midrange magnum handgun.

I use my Dillon 550. The only big issue is that you have to use the Ak powder funnel. Other than that is is pretty straight forward.

Thanks for that. Didn't think about the similar case dimensions. I'm assuming Dillon doesnt make one specifically for the .300 blk/.300 whisper?
