Anyone willing to take a female newb hunting?

Anyone who has been Turkey Hunting will tell you that it is one of the most difficult
to bag game ... Turkeys may be present and plentiful just before season, then they disappear!
They are one tough bird to find and kill! Plus you must stay motionless for hours on end, you cannot bathe or use cologne, and
you have to cover yourself in camo - even your face!
Your choice, but if you truly want to hunt anything with a shotgun, I would suggest getting started with Trap & Skeet.
This is something that will teach you skills that will make you awesome at offhand shooting anything!
It's fun and can be done year round. Later, you can use these skills to do some organized bird hunting,
which is available at a number of locations near Atlanta. There nothing like hunting in a small group behind
some well trained dogs .... further, you don't have to wear funny clothing, skip bath-time, or be quiet!
Wolf Creek has an excellent facility and still has a learn to shoot program.

Turkey hunting is awesome! Just to warn you, it's worse than deer hunting at being addictive! Once you start buying gear it will be nostop until you have every last call, shotgun, camo pattern, laundry soap, ground blind and decoy made. I can't wait till March! I just need to find a place to go now that the land I hunted has changed hands.

I'm a 26 y/o black female (people always assume I'm a white guy lol) looking to get into hunting. I really love shooting and would like to at least accompany someone on a hunt. I know that turkey season is coming up soon and would like to try or at least watch. I'm taking the hunter's education class in a couple of weeks and should have my license by the start of the season.
