I just put together an AR-15 in 7.62x39 and I did my research before I ordered the parts. I read about a lot of feed problems and all the fixes. I'm glad I did! Because it was a single shot AR when I first put it together. hahaha
I ordered an Upper from Sota Arms and a Spikes Lower from CTD.
First I installed a Wolf Extra Power Hammer Spring for those hard Russian Primers. (That didn't do the trigger pull any good)
Second The front of the mag had to be filed down a hair because the tips of the bullets were hitting it.
Third I took a small grinder and a screw driver with sandpaper wrapped around it to the M4 feed ramps.
And now I have a Great AR-15 in 7.62x39 that runs like a sewing machine. I hope this helps anyone in need.
BTW Sota Arms just lowered thier price on that upper to $439. I paid $479. Dang it.
