Too easy. Just take the grip off. Put a new detent and spring in and put grip back on. Will take all of about 60 seconds.

This for sure. Along with takedown springs and detents. Those thing can fly through a room.

did the EXACT same thing when I first put a new grip on, had no clue parts were in the actual grip but yah its just the spring and detent

I think my neighbors was actually forced thru and not just a missing piece bc everything was there when we broke it down

Update*** Went by Shots Fired in Covington to buy the spring, not only did they fix it for me they didn't charge me either. Great customer service every time I've been there

Just a FYI, I would also check and make sure that the trigger and hammer springs are installed correctly. If they lost the safety spring/detent, good chance they put the hammer spring on backwards if they had it apart. Simple. cheap fixes are always nice to find.
