AR mag question.

Is there a specific purpose that pertains to the color of the follower? If so, what are the differences, or is it just purely personal preference? Thanks

The standard GI followers are usually green. Magpul makes their anti tilt followers in all kinds of colors. I like the anti tilt. Gives me piece of mind. If you push on the front of the follower in a standard GI mag you can watch the follower nose dive. The magpul followers wont.

Brownell makes different colors too... Just curious!

I believe tan is the newest GI follower. If buying metal mags, look for the tan or green.

I use the brownells orange non tilt followers. Havent had any issues yet. Got them for a buck a piece and serviced all my mags.

No difference in followers, its all in the spring and how it is attached to the follower!
