And good AR magazine are cheaper then factory Glock mags.

Been doing that myself. Pretty good on firearms (unless a good deal) and snatching mags here and there.
That , top shelf trigger and muzzle break = .22lr barrel rise. I know I’m no expert but I know a smooth running AR when I got one. I wonder how many Folks dismiss something they’ve never truly tried?
I build and service thousands of AR's a year for civilians and LE. I've seen every single brand of captured buffer system.
The JP Enterprises is by far the best one, and it isn't as overall reliable as a "standard" buffer system.
There is such a thing as "sample size". How many systems have you seen and used with a captured buffer system? 1? I've seen thousands. MOST run fine........but 51% is "most". By far, they are much less reliable than the standard carbine or rifle buffer system. They are also much more finicky when using a wide selection of ammo, or attempting to run the gun both suppressed and unsuppressed.
One of the stupidest mods I've ever seen for an AR is the attempt to quiet down the sound of the buffer system. If someone doesn't like the sound of the AR buffer system, they need to go buy a different gun.
Yea no doubt you’re the man. But I swapped 1 of 3 of my BCM buffers with one of those JP Enterprise “Captured Spring” buffer systems and it run’s better/smoother/flatter stupid or not . That’s the end of the story for me. You build’em, I’ll shoot’em. Sir.
"Smoother" doesn't mean more reliable.
I don't care how "smoooooooth" my AR is if I am sacrificing reliability. "Reliability" is Number 1 on my list, but I guess I have my own heirarchy of criteria for what I require in an AR.

Ok. We need different things out of an AR. I’ve had no reliability problems. Just talking about it seem’s elementary to me, it’s not that complicated. My little girl can build a reliable AR. I’ve helped design and build much more sophisticated machines in my life(I tried my best not to go there but). There are Folks that have similar experience as you with the AR platform and believe the captured spring to be just as reliable and adjustable. I never had the option of working on one type pump, gearbox, centrifuge, hydraulic system, electronic control system… & on & on. If you’re happy with your guns, I’m glad. I don’t use “trash”. If it don’t work it goes in the trash. Have a good evening.
