AR9 Upper Preferences

Trying to see what people like regarding AR9 uppers.

1. Would you buy an upper package that has a barrel recessed in the rails? Anyone adverse to them?

2. Would you rather pay $70 more and get 1/2x28 threads or get a 1/2x36 piston?

3. Any non silencer buyers getting AR9's?

1. I'd rather have a slick side upper with no rail so I could add the rail I wanted.
2. Since I'd be shooting suppressed, I'd prefer the 1/2x28.
3. Not for an SBR upper. Full size upper then probably yes.
4. Bonus points if someone ever figures out another 3 lug barrel option besides the lengthy Tros wait... As it is now your only other options are to get a 3 lug adapter or send a 3 lug adapter and barrel to Adco.
