Definitely. I thought about stowing it under the rear seat, but I don't like leaving guns in my car.
Is this only 'truck gun' quality?
It actually seems very well made. The receiver is very well machined, stock locks up tight and it's reasonably accurate for what it is. It's just inexpensive, so it's easier to justify abusing it. Plus, the folding stock makes it easy to stow.
Truth. It's hard to go wrong at $399, unless the gun just plain doesn't work. AIM has been selling the same gun for $100 more for a while now.
Just noticed it doesn't take standard AK mags. What is the difference in mags?
It's a completely different design than an AK and is striker-fired. Even though it looks similar to an AK, it isn't. It comes with 5 mags, which should be adequate. I think extra mags are about $15.
