At what point can you shoot a neighbors dog?

Your life is more important than any legal troubles better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. I would let the owner know his dog came after your wife and what might follow.

How is he going to go knock on the man's door when the man has 100 lb dogs that growl and act menacing when their not even in their own yard....imaging what would happen if the OP WALKED INTO THEIR YARD...its a hard scenario to be in...best of luck OP

Be decent and talk to the dog owner first. Call the cops if nothing changes every time you or your family feels threatened. Get some pepper spray and don't hesitate to use it. Shooting the dogs should be a last resort. Keep a cool head when dealing with a volatile situation. Good luck.

when i was a kid we had a couple dogs come around terrorizing our
old lab. dad went out with the double barrel and blasted them with
12ga rock salt shells and those dogs hooped and hollered...gone

Man, Sorry to hear that brother. I don't like people who just let their dogs go wild. I would carry around the house and be prepared to execute a dog if need be.

Document all incidents for future legal matters, and carry everywhere you go to put down one of these dogs if you have to!!

I have a menacing, growling 110 pound dog that will lick you to death once you pet her for a few seconds and she gets a chance to give you a sniff. Be cautious, but give it a shot to try and get to know them. It sounds more like you don't like your neighbors, lol.

Two big dogs is one too many to handle alone. If they scare animal control they will handle it
