I'm looking for some insight into the value of a Remington Baikal 410 shotgun.

A friend of the family's husband passed recently. She found this in the back of a closet and doesn't know much about it. Didn't even know it was in the house.

Doesn't appear to have been shot much, if at all.

What could she expect to sell it for? Me looking around online found a rather large variance in prices...

Thanks!

Blue book value for Baikal MP18 with plain barrel and fixed choke
$120 for 90% condition
$200 for 100% condition

There is one listed on Gunbroker for $240 but has not received any bids in multiple auction attempts.

Hope this helps

It's not a collectible,
and since it's a single shot, single barrel
.410, there's a ton of competition in the market already for things like this ---designed to be low priced knockabout guns or training guns for kids and teenagers.

I'm guessing $150 because it looks great, and Remington allowed that foreign company to put the Remington name on it.
