just spent a week in Bainbridge as a volunteer with GA Baptist disaster relief. It's hard to describe the devastation that occurred there with hurricane Michael. The pecan crop is estimated to be 40-50% lost and I can't imagine there being a cotton harvest at all. In the city of Bainbridge there are live oak limbs everywhere as well as uprooted trees, many as large as 5-7 feet in diameter.
Special shout out to Morning Side Baptist church who housed us. There were about 70 of us staying on their property so this was no small inconvenience. They are most gracious folks. I am sure the financial burden is not small either with increased water and electricity not to mention wear and tear. Their address should you want to drop something in the plate from afar is.

The Red Cross and Salvation Army also went the extra mile in providing the product and distribution for the 76,000 meals we cooked through the time I was there, to donate.
