Best Deer Hunting Cartridge

That's cool. I don't hear of many folks shooting a 260 Rem.

I'll keep stacking them up with the 22-250. I'm sure I will prob show the 7 Mag a little love this year and take it out a few times as well.
The 260 was around years before the 6.5 CM..Remington just did a poor job on marketing it,once they decided to adopt it in the 1990’s. It’s simply a 308,necked down to 6.5..so finding cases to reload “should” be easy enough. It shoots a little faster/flatter than the CM,out to around 500yds. Very high BC round ;). Easy recoiling, and still packs enough energy at 500-600 for Deer hunting. Anywho, that’s the KoolAid I’m drinking this year. Now,that 22-250 of yours..find some 60gr Nosler Partitions,or TTSX for it & enjoy! It’s a potent round for shore..:)

I don’t think cartridge matters, shot placement, and confidence in what you shooting. I never will go to deer stand wondering if my gun is still zero,or if it will function.i will check zero at least once a week during season if I bump it it will be checked before I go back hunting.

Another opinionated azzhole, azzhole's and opinions everyone has one. I think I've killed a deer with every cartridge he list besides the 7mm Rem mag. Kinda partial to the .280 - .280ai.
I shoot a 280 do the job . I killed buck last yr with only deer rifle my dad bought me Winchester model 88 308 it still does job too gun worth more now , what he bought it for .
