I made a list of cartridges to deer hunt with this year in order:
243
25-06
30-30
308
270WSM
7Mag
300BLK

Maybe the way to do it would be to swap them out in order for every sit.
Any ideas?

In all seriousness this year I plan to use a 6.5cm, .30-30, .35 rem, and .30-06 for rifle season. Of course I'm gonna try to stick one or two with my bow as well. I've used .30-06, 7mm mag, 7mm-08, .30-06 all in the past and had success with them. I got a poor blood trail out of a couple of them but it was mostly bullet selection and shot placement issue and not caliber.

I prefer a mobile mount for hunting.

On a serious note, the 243 is probably the only cartridge you would ever need to take a white tail with here in GA. Unless you have access to big bean/cotton fields down south and you plan to use your ATV to drive the 1/4 mile or more to gather your animal. Then I would WANT something with a little heavier bullet, even though you don't NEED it.
