Best vacuum sealer and bags?

We have an older Foodsaver FM200. The bags don’t always stay vacuumed and either due to it not working right, the bags or operator error.
Lookino to upgrade, we just bought a Foodsaver FM2900 at Costco and some Costco bags.
Has anyone found a great vacuum sealer, and what bags do you use.

We have the Costco sealer and use their bags. Wife’s had good luck with them .

Most of the non-sealing issues come from liquid getting into the seam area. It will not seal with liquid in it. Freeze anything that has liquid first, then vacuum seal.

Mine has more than paid for itself, resealing chips, cookies, etc., that comes in bags.
No more stale throwaways.

This^^^ also, frozen veggies, breads etc…..

A hack I use when freezing meat, particularly fresh venison...wrap it in Saran wrap first. That helps keep the moisture from being pulled out and preventing the bag from getting a good seal. It's an extra step but has been well worth it to me.
