What kind of cell service do you have at that location? 1,000 ft wireless cams exist, but are not cheap.

I have great cell service. I dont mind paying for good equipment as long as it does what it should.

You are probably going to want to run IP cameras with wireless bridges to the building with internet access. Where and how many cameras depends on your objectives (i.e., is it enough to see that someone is nosing around your property, or do you want useful evidence to turn over to the cops?)

Basically, it's a transmitter and receiver for network traffic, used when running network cable is impractical or too expensive. In this case, I can run a video feed from one building to another without having to lay cable which could be expensive to run through conduit, or vulnerable to disturbance (getting chewed by animals or cut by lawnmower or edger).
