What the Hell? Would you fill out a BOS and meet a seller at an FFL to fill out a 4473? I mean, how bad do you want it?

We've already got enough gun laws we HAVE to follow. Why do some people insist on doing doing extra **** that is NOT required by law?
If it was something I really wanted, I'd do it.
So like an AMT in .30 carbine or an SVT-40 Sniper or something like that, sure!
Or for a current gun that I wanted as long as a great deal, sure.

I just don't get it. Paranoia? Why both? Even when I lived in IL no one asked for a BOS, just a transfer notice to the State Police barracks.
