All that matters is that it works for you. I've had less expensive scopes that failed and then the lifetime warranty was no good. I have had good luck with the older Redfields and Nikon. When these scopes were no longer made, I moved to Leupold. I also have an old Tasco that has been good as well. I have a set of Steiner binoculars that has been good as well. I'd love to try German made glass sometime, just haven't found the right deal. At this stage in my life, I don't think I'd ever get my money's worth out of itI loved the M-223 and the M-308. The 308 model came in at 599 with the mount and that scope was phenomenal for the money. The M-223 was great as well. I hate the went belly up.
Well I got nailed to the cross upside down for buying a Vortex on sale but they do have a decent track record. I will probably go with the Vortex Viper HS for my 6.5 Creedmoor unless I get specific info about another option with similar features.cmshoot said that he had seen a lot is delamination of the front objective with Leopold Scopes in the competition circuit.
So I guess there is good and bad with them all so get one and ship it back if it fails. I have learned absolutely nothing. It's either trijicon, night Force, Schmidt and Bender or just use the open sites and don't waste your money on in scopes built in China. I guess good quality fentanyl is the only thing you can buy from China that's worth a damn! 😤
