They say our new one off I95 here in the greater Brunswick metropolitan area is killing it.
And their high intensity lights at night are disorienting the sea turtles, causing them to swim the wrong way.
Haven't been and after our experience at the one near Daytona, doubt I ever would go in one again.
Leave it to the dumbass tourists.

You can say that because it’s not at your back door nor will you have to deal with the traffic. I had to appeal my property tax this year as it’s more than double what it was for the previous owner just 5 years ago. It will do nothing to lower taxes. Wait and see.

Local government will be like, “Well, with “B” guys coMing to town, we will increase our revenues in taxes, raising everyone’s taxes to double… That ain’t that bad guys. God job! — Who’s going to get the bonuses this year?”

The turtle light issue isn't a Buccess issue, it was jist made to be a Buccess issue to get headlines and attract attention to the articles.

Sorry you hate tourists. I hate the stupid round abouts on SSI but I only drive over them in my truck. Lol

Don't know his situation, but sometimes the expressway comes to you.
Had a friend who many years ago I85 cut his farm in half, went right through the middle.
Another win for eminent domain over a generational family property.

This is true.
My grand daughter is a Marine Biologist student at Brunswick's College of Coastal GA and this is a well known issue in the community.

I just love how country folk love to tell islanders our business. And know everything about the beach.
Thank you for your input, and your concerns have been noted.
And yes, I hate tourists, but realize the money they spend keeps the county operating.
The term "necessary evil" comes to mind.

I'm more islander then you ever will be.

Major Wright road is named after my family, which are buried at Christ Church as one of the oldest marked Graves. We are part of not only SSI and Glynn county origin stories, but this states.

So, you're the tourist in comparison. And I care about the golden isles.

The light issues upsetting the turtle growth population has long been an issue, well before Buccess was even a thought.

I've done volunteer work in the 00's trying to help care for the nest and protect them.
