Thanks for The recommendations. I went to Builders Surplus in Smyrna today and found a ton of good stuff.

Hope it isn't too late... But check out D. Lawless Hardware. Most of it is import stuff, but the prices are right. They have all kinds of hardware for cabinets, etc.

Well, the house we bought is a forclosure. Its also rather large. The "evictees" basically stripped all cabinet hardware, took the expensive entry door, the garage door opener, some cabinets from the master bath all 3 HVAC units (bank is replacing those) and the central vacuum unit. Additionally, someone came behind them and kicked open one of the French doors.

Doesn't that piss you off!? I mean no need to mess up things for someone else just because you can't afford them. Good luck with your search everywhere I know is way far from you.

At first, yes. Then I realized that the reason I was able to snag the house at such a good deal was that some people didn't want to mess with the 3 weeks of work it would take to get it back to normal. I plan on retiring here and won't remember the sweat equity later.
