Burlington College Closing Due To "Crushing Debt" Incurred Under Bernie Sanders Wife

So a small private college goes bust 5 yrs after Sanders leaves and it's her fault,How about all those folks suing Trump University for fraud,Oh wait that doesn't count and he's actually the person running for President, not Sander's wife, funny thing about politics it can reach up and bite you and your electrical tape eyebrows right in the arse.BTW there have been quite a few college's closed since 2009 and most were being run in Republican states, lol

Closures 2009 to present

50% of the students incurring debt to go to ANY college will wind up working jobs NOT based on their college education. How about 4 years of college debt and wind up working at the mini mart night shift because you can't get a job in your field.

No. She bankrupted the college with her ridiculous expansion, apparently lied about pledge amounts used to secure the loan, and was pressured to resign - all while receiving a nice severance package for her failure. The school tried to hang on after she destroyed it by laying off faculty and cutting salaries, and her replacement was also forced to resign because she couldn't fix the mess she inherited. The history is all there for anyone who would like to inform themselves...

Oh and for the record, her husband was a bum who didn't have his first steady job until age 40, and surprise/surprise, it was a government job.

OTOH- Many private and public colleges were expanding and buying assets at that time frame as well. It was the "cool thing to do" and marked you as a competitive school. The revenues from tuitions, grants, and endowments were still rolling in. AND the schools board of directors had to approve the plan, so its not like she got a wild hair one day and went of a buying spree.

Its fun to say, "Ha HAA!", but its not particularly fair.

Well since we're being fair and all... Can you also point out any former presidents who were responsible for these "now bankrupt "colleges who also happen to be spouses of any of the current crop of presidential candidates??? It would also be excellent if you can drill down and show how this current presidential candidate was also a prominent political figure in the state at the same time when their spouse was responsible for bankrupting the college.
