Most definitely. I had to drill the hole out in the center post of my Igo w4 to fit the wire through lol six stands of 28 gauge kanthal is a lot to cram in such a small hole. Bit hey I'm used to stuffing big things in small holes .

I agree with the meetup! Ill be there sunday as i can no longer hold off on buying juice so no matter how bad my leg hurts, ill be there sunday. might have to screw with this twisted build.................

6 strands? ... you either tossed in a strand of nickel per coil OR the third coil is missing from your picture

i usually dont have weekends either but the next weekend fiancee is having family come in so i get to work the week and have sunday and the next weekend off. what size bits do you guys use to do wraps like these, i might head to sears tomorrow and pick one up.

6 strands? ... you either tossed in a strand of nickel per coil OR the third coil is missing from your picture

It's a dual coil build made from 3 strands of 28 gauge so that makes 6 strands total in the center

Yes and no. Yes it would be the same resistance but it would not have the same amount of surface area. The twisted strands give little pockets all across the coil for juice to sit in. That's why IMHO you get more vapor and flavor from a twisted build than a build with larger awg wire

I understand 2 strands twisted. But can you really tell the difference with the third?
