Yeah. It also depends on how tight you twist. I also have a build in my helios that looks like guitar string. I take 32 gauge and coil it around some 28 gauge. It is some awesome stuff.

Yeah I went through that whole Mundy wire phase. Only bad side is dropping it on carpet. Picks up every micron of fuzz

i usually dont have weekends either but the next weekend fiancee is having family come in so i get to work the week and have sunday and the next weekend off. what size bits do you guys use to do wraps like these, i might head to sears tomorrow and pick one up.

It's a dual coil build made from 3 strands of 28 gauge so that makes 6 strands total in the center

damn. I've heard 2 x kanthal and 1 x nickel twisted but 3 x kanthal gotta be my 1st. by how much is it cutting down resistance on a triple twist 28?

Here are some measurements of the wire I use to build my coils
3 strands of 28 gauge twisted is 0.0270 inches 2 strands of 28 gauge twisted is 0.0235 inches and the 32 gauge coiled around 28 gauge is 0.028 inches.

The top is the coiled 32 around 28 the middle is 3 strands of 28 gauge twisted and the bottom is 2 strands of 28 gauge twisted

Honestly I don't use 2 x 28 enough to comment. But I do know that on a 20 gauge needle one strand of 28 gauge wrapped Roughly 8 x is somewhere around 0.9 I have to wrap 15 times or more of the 3 x 28 to get the same resistance. So I just build fat coils I wrap them on a bit for my dremel vs a 20 gauge lol

I have three dripping atomizers all setup differently. The hot stuff is for around the house and showing off. Then the helios is my all day Vape. It does not heat up as bad as the triple twisted 28 . But Yea they get pretty damn hot if you take more than two draggs off of em in a short time frame.
That also reminds me. I need another mech damn it lol

I like the caravela clones the most so far. I had a nemesis and it was good but the caravela is a tad better. I also still have a magneto and a origin mod. The origin is OK but does not hit as hard as the nemesis or caravela. And I just don't like telescope mods.

Lol out of all my mods my magneto is my work mod. It's just built sturdy imo.
