Home Depot sells the air shim bag in their auto oil section for $19.99, or something like that.

I’ve seen doors warped because of those. Locksmiths are inexpensive and quicker

Slimjim tools started becoming useless in 1986 when they started putting anti theft plates over the linkage in the doors.

I have an array of tools to unlock them and/or open the doors without damage.
I was a master tech for 20+yrs before I became too damaged to work on them much anymore. But I kept all my stuff ! Lol . ….. all that is moot if I can’t get there to help, though.
Yeah when they re-engineer things, being door locks, engine control systems, brakes, etc., you have to adapt if you want to continue to repair them to make a living.
I do hope all goes well though.
