Funny as hell that's what I thought you get what you pay for. But the door is pumped up and I can give it ago in the AM . I will have to poke a hole in it to get it to release.

At this point, I’d make a door stop from soft wood, cover it in painters tape and and say open up gorgeous.
Get an 1/8-1/4” aluminum rod from Home Depot and bend it how you see fit.
