I'm recently getting into rifle reloading. I have been pistol reloading for a while and now need to get a case trimmer. Anyone got any suggestions? I want something simple that can is good quality. Thanks!

I don't expect to be doing extreme amounts of rifle ammo immediately but maybe in the future. I've seen a couple different Lee ones but one I saw had to be used in the press and one required another piece of equipment. Which one are you suggesting Russell0331? Thanks

X2 in lee trim I use a drill and cutter it's fast accurate easy huh huh and more power I just need to use my drill for something

X3, I tend to do 75-100 per sitting of 30-06. Sit watching TV and trim, chamfer, and prime. If doing 5.56 pop the base in a drill and make short work of it.

The best ones I've used are from Forster and RCBS. I'd recommend the Forster for low to moderate levels of excellent quality brass trimming.

RCBS is what I recommend if you see yourself doing higher volumes and want to add advanced features and powered drive now or down the road.

I've owned both of these and can highly recommend either for quality results. One I will advise against is the basic Lyman. It's nothing more than junk that they don't support well at all.

If you see yourself doing long runs of 5.56/.223 or other bottleneck rounds the 3 Way Cutter attachment is the best thing since sliced bread and cold beer. It makes short work of several tedious task.

Awesome!! Thanks for all the feedback. I'm gonna look into the foster and rcbs ones. Ive never heard of that 3 way blade. What makes it better than standard blades?
