Castle Ring vs. Butt Stock Attachment for 1-Point Sling

Does anyone have any advice / experience on the best place to attach a 1-Point Sling to an AR-15? I have a Rogers Super Stock and it has a place for a QD sling attachment in the end of the stock and I was hoping to see if anyone had any preferences for mounting a 1-Point Sling at the Butt Stock as opposed to at the Castle Ring.

The castle nut is where to go. Attach at the stock and the muzzle will pretty likely end up in the dirt.

If you want my 2 cents single point slings are useless. You can't really carry the rifle with it, all its good for is keeping the gun close to you if you drop it.

I had a couple of single points. Ditched them and went to the ms2 that converts from single to 2 point. It was better, but not as good as a standard 2 point quick adjust in my opinion.

Use the castle nut/backplate for single pt, 2 pt is better in most instances.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO single point slings. they are for airsoft toys.

the VTAC classiccityfirearms has listed is not just the best sling, its the best price for a new one ive seen. do yourself a favor and buy it!
