Catfishing near Alpharetta

Can someone recommend a place in the Alpharetta area I can bring my kids (10&13) Cat fishing? I have a small boat but would prefer shoreline. Also a suggested bait would be appreciated. We have a small retention pond in the next sub division over that seems to have a healthy bass population, but there does not appear to be any cat fish. Here is a bass my son caught this past weekend in the little muddy pond with a 4inch plastic lizard.

PS: I'm not looking for monster cats, something we can reel in without too much drama. A few pounds would be a biggun. Catch and release.

My family and best buddy live there. Me and him put waders on and have fished about every swampy pond in the alpharetta/Milton area. Weve never once caught a catfish. Even tried the bigger ponds at night with stinkbait. But the bass fishing sure is good. No one else will get out in them.
