Colorado Elk 2nd Rifle - 5x5

I punched my Colorado 2nd Rifle- Bull Elk tag. ! It was hard won , but what an amazing experience! It took me 2 days to quarter and pack meat off the mountain. We have 2 more days of hunting trying to fill Pops tag. Today is his 65th birthday, so I’m really hoping for some magic this evening!

I have always dreamed of taking this victory walk. Possibly the hardest thing I have ever physically done in my life!

Christensen Mesa chambered in 300 Win Mag. 190 Grain Nosler accubond if I’m not mistaken!
