Colt Burgess Repeating Rifle. Help Please

Can y'all please help me out. My father in law has his dads rifle and we would like info and value. Don't hesitate to ask questions or for more photos. Any help would be appreciated.

These are pretty rare. I have only seen a couple and they werent in this good of shape. You may try the Colt forum for more info. It definately has substantial value.

I really have no clue and I know this isn't very helpful, but I'd bet a nut that thing's worth a pretty penny.

not super up to date on these but I know clean examples can bring anywhere from 2500 up to closer to 10 depending on caliber condition and all that. a very nice piece for sure and I would deff get it looked at by an expert as small things can often times mean big $$$

That's Awesome, definitely a keeper, would not sale for any price, but I like Colts.

Thanks y'all keep it coming, my father in law wants to sell and I want to keep in the family. So I might try to buy it. We have a picture of a great, great great with it in 1880 something.
