OK, Pythons are really nice revolvers. But man, for one Python, I can have two Smiths. Easy decision for me.

They are way over valued. They are pretty. That is about it. Smith's are better, and Rugers last longer.

You can argue about if you think their value is truly deserved or not, but to say a smith is a better is quite crazy. Snakes are better, but I agree not worth the price point.

I like all three, but have been told by a lot of folks that the Colts will not stay in time as long as others if shot a lot. Like I said, just have heard that. Don't know if there is any truth to it.

Tell this to my uncle, please please please!!!! the guy is obsessed with me finding him a python....we've been through the "get a smith, or two" convo a thousand times....but i feel i gotta do it...he won't pay a dime over $1500...thinks he should only pay $600....ugh...nice thread, thx for the nightmares.
