Complete Gun Make Over, AK-47 WASR-10 edition (formally New Furntire!)

-Update-

Just got the Tapco Stubby front handgaurd grip (in OD green) installed on the lower rail of the front handgaurd. Placed it toward the middle of the rail to insure that I could change out the magazine without it interfering. The front hand grip is short, hence the name "Stubby" and was designed to be placed all the way back toward the mag well and not interfere with a mag change but I didn't like how close everything was, just alittle added insurance that I won't have any interference. Also installed the rubber buttstock pad. Looks better and grips your clothing really well. I'm installing a Millet 30mm red-dot, scope style, today and will be sighting that in as well. I will post range pics today when I get everything installed.

The Tapco Stubby front handgaurd grip and buttstock pad can be purchased from MidwayUSA.com. My total after shipping was $35 for them.

PICS COMING SOON!

Range report from yesterday. What me and bear44 learned...

1. My AK and both of his AKs had front sights that would not adjust for windage. Even with the Tapco front sight tool, they would not move.
2. My Millett red dot was a piece of crap, gonna mail it back.
3. The Tapco front handguard heat shield does a great job after 2 mags being emptied with rapid fire.

The issue wasn't with the red dot on the front rail, it was the fact that I got a bad red dot from Millett. I'll will have them send me a replacement and if that one sucks butt too, then I'll look else where.
