Confused, I had a handgun shipped from Bud's to a local FFL dealer and he telling me

Sounds to me like its time to find a different FFL. May I suggest Classic City Firearms in Athens. Best bet is to not buy two pistols at the same time. Wait a week or more between purchases.

OP, find a new FFL. I would never trust a FFL who cannot keep up with which customer is buying. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.
