Corporate Job and Beards?

Along the lines of GAgunLAWbooklet. I was in the same position, where I grew attached to a longer beard, and wanted to keep it going. I stepped up my appearance otherwise, above the level to which I could be held accountable. You can turn anything to your advantage.
 
I'm surprised by this thread. I've worn a beard my entire life and only shaved it three times. Never once considered what my employee, boss, or customers thought.

Dress and groom to emulate those who are in a position to advance your career. Jamie Dimon does not have a beard. Sir Richard Branson does. It's all about context.
 
I work for the largest chemical company in the world.
I work in a territory and not an office building.
I am in the construction products division.
My beard is acceptable.

Yours looks well groomed.

Been thinking about this too. Over-dress to make it look better

Cause you're 6'10" and would probably hammer punch anyone that questioned you with you're caveman club of a fist.
