I place an item for sale on Craigslist for $300 a week a so ago. A guy called me about it after a few emails. I told him the best i would do is $275. He showed up about an hour ago to pick it up.
He gave me a stack of ONE DOLLAR BILLS saying it was $175 and his passenger had the other hundred. I told him i trusted him and i wasn't gonna count it (IREALLYDIDNTWANTTO). While helping him load it, I asked him what he did and he said vending machines inside of businesses which are operated by the blind. He had a blind female passenger riding with him. She hands me another stack of ONE DOLLAR bills telling me it's the other $100.
Cool. Have a safe trip back home. Wife asks me who Hilly Billy Jim.was and I said the guy for the item and showed her the cash. She asked if I counted it. I said NAH.
$239 when she counted 3x. I counted it and it was the same. She is pissed and I said, maybe they needed it more. We will be alright.
I'm more upset about the lying than i am about the money. PEOPLE SUCK🤥
