Crimped primers on .223?

Do some .223 brass come with crimped primers? I know 5.56 brass is crimped but did not know .223 did too. I see some that looks like it is crimped. Wallacem in Ga

Found some ppc brand that is. I have some winchester headstamped 35 remington that was crimped also.

Most all the ones i found do....especially anything military surplus.
Normally has to be run through a primer pocket swager.

All the fun of reloading .223 ( but you only have to do it once, lol)

American Eagle is crimped sometimes. It is not only surplus that is crimped.....It helps keep the primer from blowing out.

He knows 556 military brass is usually crimped. The question was about .223 headstamped brass which is typically commercial.

Some federal .223 is. I haven't seen any others but I stick to the same brands.

Sorry, 223 is what I was referring to....commercial 223 is often crimped
