curious

Earlier this season I was out hunting and a tree frog hopped up on the barrel of my 1894 and just sat there/walked around on it for over an hour, he was like this is my gun!

Edit: I forgot I changed it the other day.

My favorite animal is the red fox, has been since I was a kid. Have a red fox in my woods I named Todd and he comes out to see me while hunting all the time, curling up at the base of my stand or on the ground a few feet from me for 10-20 minutes each day I go out.

Mine's a tribute to those brave men who took up arms (well airplanes) against the Japanese empire before we went to war. That, and their desire for action and cash. Technically they were mercenaries until the war started. I believe they got a $500 bounty for each enemy plane they downed. Righteous bucks in 1940. And to Claire Chennault for his great tactics. Speaks volumes even today. In a nutshell, play to your strengths. P-40 was heavy and could not dogfight with the Japanese peers. But she could handle a lot of damage and packed serious firepower.

I could go on and on...oh, and my mom's cousin flew in the subsequent 23rd Fighter Group.
