Got a question I am hoping to get an answer to or at least pointed in the general direction of understanding.
I would like to know why people are selling "customized" AR-15's for crazy prices when the base gun is not all that expensive. They list so many upgrades and such which are basically easy add-ons anyone can do. I can understand a lower that has a high-end trigger group or an upper with an upgraded barrel and such. It seems that most times it is customized it is to their liking (hence the term customized) and most end users would rather do it on their own. I personally bought a Del-ton AR and added on the items I wanted and dressed it up with how I wanted it and did it for very little expense. I certainly would not list it for double the price just cause it was "customized." Just curious.
