I had a white german shepherd mix that looked exactly like yours. It was a rescue off death row because he was returned three times. It was the meanest and fastest to bite dog I have ever seen. It was a guard dog only for my parents. No one could safely be around him but me and my dad. Took him to boarding a few times. I told them to leave him in the cage and wash the cage out with a hose and not to touch him. They said fine. The first time I took him, a very masculine woman said she could handle hime and would take him to his cage. I argued but she was adamant. She put a lead in him and yanked the lead that got her four fang holes on the forearm before she could blink. I put him in the cage the few other times I boarded him. He was not dangerous with kids but he would bite any adult that touched him or even stared at him. I hope I can find another one like that when I retire. It is too big of a burden when you have family and work.
