Tonight was serving bowl sized “killer salads”
Start with a bed of spring salad mix, then add
sliced carrots
sliced radish
sliced cucumber
chopped broccoli
chopped cauliflower
chopped hard-boiled egg
diced ham
shredded sharp cheddar cheese
dust with some McCormick salad toppings
toss on a handful of french fried onions
drown in Hidden Valley Ranch w/Bacon dressing
salt & pepper to taste

7 pound Boston Butt, into the slow cooker on high for 8 hours with olive oil for the binder, this rub, 4 cups of beef broth, a splash of apple cider vinegar and a splash of balsamic vinegar--probably a few tablespoons combined--and a handful of baby carrots. Put a whole stick of unsalted butter on the top for good measure before closing the lid.

So. Good. Probably the best one yet, and I've done some good ones on the smoker! But this is too easy!

Looks good. I like a good salad every once in a while

Once again I was too hungry to take pictures. Ahi tuna poke bowl. Tuna with onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and a dab of spicy Korean sauce. I cut up some avocado and made a pot of Jasmine rice. I layered it in a bowl and served it up. I wanted to flip it over on a plate and remove the bowl but I forgot to spray the bowl to keep it from sticking. It was delicious either way but next time I'll remember.
